이 곡은  영화 Flashdance의 ost

Flashdance는

피츠버그의 제철 공장의 용접공으로 일하면서

밤에는 나이트 클럽의 플로어 댄서로 일하는

18세의 소녀 알렉스 오웬스의 성공기

 그녀는 도시의 삭막함과 비정한 현실 속에서도 고난을 극복하며

댄서로서의 꿈을 키우고 있다.

그녀는 무용으로 천하를 주름잡으려는 꿈을 가지고 있는데

그녀의 꿈과 재간을 본 그 회사 사장인 닉은

그녀의 꿈을 실현시켜 주기로 결심하고 물심양면으로 도와준다.

그러는 동안 오웬스와 닉크는 사랑하는 사이로 발전하게 된다.

열심히 노력한 결과 자신이 창출한 무용으로 재능을 인정받아

자신의 꿈을 실현하게 된다는 내용
